Tournament Overview

1.1 Objectives

The primary objectives of these college Valorant tournaments are to promote healthy competition, foster teamwork, and determine the best Valorant team in the college.

1.2 Eligibility

Participation is open to all current students of the college in India . Each player must be a registered student at the time of the tournament.

1.3 Tournament Format

The tournament consists of online matches to select the top team across the college, followed by a BO3 quarter/ semi and a BO5 final.

1.4 Schedule

The tournament schedule, including online match dates, deadlines, and online final dates, will be provided to all registered teams before the start of the tournament.

Online Matches

2.1 Registration
  • Teams must register online before the specified deadline.
  • Registration includes providing the correct roster of players, team name, and contact information, team logo, college name, and college logo.
  • Any false information may lead to the team(s) disqualifying.
2.2 Team Composition
  • A team must consist of five main players and up to one substitute.
  • Roster changes are allowed until the registration deadline.
2.3 Match Settings
  • Matches will be played among the current competitive Matchmaking pool.
  • The tournament organizers will provide match details, including map ban links and match schedules, to the teams.
  • Teams must report 30 minutes before their online matches are scheduled. Not Complying may lead to Disqualification.
2.4 Disconnections and Technical Issues
  • In the event of a player disconnection, the match may be paused for the provided quota of 10 minutes, or else at the discretion of the opposing team.
  • If technical issues persist for more than 15 minutes (in total) the tournament organizers will decide on match continuation or rescheduling.
  • Both teams will get 2 technical timeouts available by the ingame team voting option, 1 per half.

Code of Conduct

3.1 Fair Play
  • All participants must play fairly and abide by the rules and spirit of the game.
  • Cheating or exploiting bugs is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Cheating and Exploits
  • Using any form of cheating software or exploiting game bugs will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Tournament organizers may conduct random checks on player’s POV, if anything is found suspicious.
3.3 Sportsmanship
  • Teams and players are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct such as T-bagging, sledging, harassment, or disrespectful behavior in the chat box, is not tolerated.
3.4 Respect
  • Teams and players must respect the decisions of tournament officials.
  • Any disrespectful behavior towards opponents, organizers, or spectators may result in disqualification.
